FATHAI.LAII, under restraint for three-quarters, took command under restraint at the seventh fence and, rated along thereafter, responded in the last half mile and withstood VESTIP. The latter, close up from the start, made a bad landing at the ninth obstacle, but recovered quickly and challenged repeatedly in the last three quarters. BUD-BUD was unable to make up ground when put to a drive. JINGLE was always outrun. MASTERY tired after the first mile. SANGAMO fell at the eleventh jump. EVEN UP, outpaced early, responded to pressure and was going fastest of all at the end. SUN TEATIME showed early speed, but tired in the last quarter. TEACH ME was held safe throughout. PALS MEADOWS, rated in a forward position, came again after dropping back on the turn and fought it out gamely. ELEUSAGON continued gamely after being forced to withstand early contention. FLYING WTNGS tired after challenging entering the stretch. FAIR THORN showed a good performance. BRANCH was going stoutly at the end. EILONA showed early speed.
