AMERICAN DERBY CANDIDATES HOMEWOOD, 111., May 28.— The H. T, Archibald stable, headed by the American Derby candidate Dark Hero, and including eighteen others, is due at Lincoln Fields Saturday. The Archibald colors will be seen at Washington Park, Arlington Park, Hawthorne and Lincoln Fields, according to information received here. Epithet, the good three-year-old son of Epinard and Fairy Wand, which Messrs. Mason and Hanger, owners of the Warm Stable, purchased out of the Cochran sale, is to be shipped from New York to Jack Middleton, trainer of the main division of the Warm Stable now at Lincoln Fields. It is believed that Epithet, conqueror of Jamestown last year, may be in top condition for the American Derby. •
