"COVERING" FOR WAITE GATE NEW YORK, N. Y., May 28.— J. E. Widen-er stated that a rubber covering somewhat similar to an automobile shoe would be placed the full length of the partitions dividing the stalls in the Waite gate now in use at Belmont Park. Should a horse straddle the partition the rubber shoe would eliminate all chances of scalding or bruising. •
