t BAINBRIDGE PARK NOTES ยง $ GEAUGA LAKE, Ont., May 28. J. O. Keene, of the Keeneland Stud, was an arrival from Lexington, Ky. H. H. Chopin unloaded four horses from Aurora. A. D. Steele arrived with eight head from Kentucky and Bruce Johnson unloaded his string from Aurora. E. Steinmeier, under contract to Al Lu-zader, scored his first victory on Lucky Dan Tuesday. Steve Cleary, New Orleans horseman, unloaded two horses from Jamaica. A. Yerrat reported that the colt Batty broke down and had to be fired. General manager Robert S. Eddy, Jr., is expected back from Springfield, 111., where he went in the interest of the Fairmount tax bill. He is then expected to announce the future plans of the Collinsville course. In winning three races yesterday, Vic Gallo, New Orleans horseman, took the lead over trainers and owners at this meeting with a total of five wins. W. J. Henfling is second with four victories to his credit. Jockey A. Etes escaped injury when he was unseated by Dale lass when she stumbled midway of the stretch in the third race.
