Zakoor will handle the engagement books for jockeys E. Fator and C. Reynolds during the Long Branch session. C. Reynolds is a promising apprentice and rode his first winner Thursday at Woodbine on Wacket. J. H. Louchheim wired word to Happy Buxton that he would be on hand to witness the performance of his horse Grey Coat in the Toronto Cup. Mr. Louchheim making the journey from Philadelphia in his private car. Jockey F. Mann reported sick to Edwin Whyte, clerk of the scales, and cancelled his mounts for today. Jockey F. Catrone, who has been engaged handle Grey Coat for J. H. Louchheim the Toronto Cup, was an arrival from Belmont Park. Jockey G. Quackenbush, who suffered a crushed foot during the Thorncliffe meeting, announced that he is ready to resume riding and will likely don silks at Long Branch. Jockey A. Robertson, who is under contract to C. V. Whitney, will leave following the final race Saturday to join the main division of the Whitney Stable at Belmont Park. J. Boden, who handles a large public stable, has decided to split his band in two divisions. One will proceed to Ottawa and the other will remain for the Long Branch meeting. The advance guard of racers that are scheduled to depart for Connaught Park will leave Toronto Sunday evening. This shipment will be followed by another that will leave Monday. Jockey A. Adams, whose contract was purchased from Jim Arthur for a large sum last fall for the Geneseo Stable, made his initial appearance of the season astride Old Times in the concluding event at Woodbine today.
