ANTHONY WAYNE began fast and, showing speed, drew clear and crossed to the inside on the turn, j gamely withstood the challenge of DELVEN and won well in hand. The latter worked his way up fast, challenged mildly entering the stretch, but could not get up, holding on well to outfinish NIGHT VINTAGE. The latter closed much ground with a rush on the outside in the first three eighths and held on with «ood courage. COLETOWN showed a good performance. LADY BATTS began fast, but was slightly shuffled back on the first turn and tired after moving up in the stretch. MINTON began well, but was taken back lepeatedlv under a timid ride. PRINCE RENO began poorly.
