READY FOR DORVAL OPENING Big Fields Entered for First Days Sport — Juvenile Stakes Feature of Inaugural. MONTREAL Que., June 23.— With big fields entered for all the contests, racing comes back to Dorval Wednesday with every indication that another successful meeting will be staged. Over 600 horses, stabled here, at Blue Bonnets and Kings Park, are available for racing in this section and the opening day entry list is an impressive reflection of this condition. The renewal of the Dorval Juvenile Stakes, one of the oldest events staged annually at the picturesque lake shore track, will feature the opening meeting and should provide a thrilling contest for the big St Jean Baptiste Day gathering that will assemble at the track. The race brings together the sensational youngster Argien, winner of his last three races, and Howee, which had been defeating all comers until he reached Blue Bonnets, where twice he tired under 118 pounds after racing well in the early stages. The Juvenile Stakes is over fivo and a half furlongs, which is a sixteenth of a mile farther than the youngsters raced at Blue Bonnets. This is held by some to favor Argien, though Howee gets a couple of pounds off from handicapper Eugene Burry on his recent races. Rosemarie B., a recent winner, and five other smart youngsters complete the field. As a secondary attraction the Loews Theater Purse, over one mile and a sixteenth, is offered. Elizabeth, which won two starts at Blue Bonnets in runaway fashion, is entered for this race and meets several recent winners.
