WHISKING moved up fast under urging in the last eighth. POLO BAR responded to urging in the stretch and dosed gamely. HERKIMER finished fast. SCOUT MASTER raced evenly throughout. Won easily ; second and third the same. ERNE II. moved into command soon after the start, jumped boldly, showed high speed and held the others safe throughout. LE BEY, under pressure on the last turn, could not get up. TOP KICK jumped well but was outrun all the way. IOLLAN and DARK MAGNE fell at the fifteenth obstacle. The latter raced SERGT. DONALDSON into defeat, withstood opposition from MASKED BALL and held on gamely. MASKED BALL moved up fast on the outside of the leaders entering the stretch, but tired at the end. MOWRIS was shuffled back on the far turn and finished with a rush.
