READY FOR SALEM RACING SALEM, N. H, June 29.— Everything is in readiness for the resumption of thoroughbred racing on a large scale in staid old New England over the Rockingham Park track here July 1. Officials of the New Hampshire Breeders Association, under whose auspices the thirty-four-day meeting will run, have invested in the neighborhood of 00,000 in bringing the course, which was built a quarter of a century ago, up to modern race track standards. Needless to state, they have succeeded in their efforts. Nothing has been overlooked in the matter of comfort of the many turf patrons of this section of the country that will be attracted to the course. Several hundred thoroughbreds are already on the grounds and many more are due in within the next couple of days.
