I FAIR GROUNDS TURF NOTES I H. Cavanaugh has taken over Quick Sale to train for Miss Dorothy Hagen. Frank Swain, recently engaged to train! the horses of Fred M. Grabner during the" coming season, leaves next week for Ken tucky, where he will take up the many; Grabner horses. C. H. Trotter, who is to train the J. B Respess stable this year, has returned to Kentucky from Miami and will put the Respess horses through early training at Latonia. The twelve horses J. O. Keene has here will be sold privately or at public sale iri. the Fair Grounds paddock, Mr. Keene an nounced today. C. Hyde Smith has taken over Sydka and, Battler to train for Mrs. R. P. Shaffer. H. E. Yorke resigned as trainer of the horses of F. Sansone, of New York,, and. will be succeeded by Richard McKeon. A division of the stable of Mrs. W. J Potter arrived at the Fair Grounds from Mobile this morning. It comprised the older; Bocaratone and Hayess Choice and the two-; year-olds Brilliant Miss, Brilliant Boy and Dr. Hennessy. Richard Pending, track superintendent of the Bowie track, is to be removed to his home Saturday from a Baltimore hospital where he underwent an operation ten days ago, according to word received here. Lucky Dan, owned by Mrs. A. Luzader, is back in training after being inactive for five weeks following the application of the firing irons. The three horses E. W. Moore had fop F. M. Alger, of Detroit, were taken-over by W. G. Wilson and .Mrs. Moore arranged to sell at auction in the Fair Grounds paddock 1 the horse Clarence Lebus, which she owns
