I AGUA CALIENTE NOTES s C. B. Irwin, king pin of the trainers below the border for many seasons, is not faring so well this year. He has seen his colors in front but once in fifty-six days of racing at the Agua Caliente oval. Up, the Handicap horse from the stable of James N. Crofton is responding nicely to treatment for his recent leg injury and may be put in training early next month. C. E. Graham has announced his intention of racing his horses at Tanforan at the conclusion of the Agua Caliente meeting, after which they will be shipped to Chicago. John Maluvius, the official jockey agent for the association, took over his new duties today.
