PREANDER acted badly at the barrier and, after starting well, could not keep up. MISS FASHION PLATE quit. BAG SMASHER, off slowly, dropped to rear in the early stages and, although in close quarters entering the stretch, closed fast and would have been dangerous under more energetic riding.
