I AGUA CALIENTE NOTES hB L. M. Fator, former star eastern jockey, is spending the winter at Agua Caliente, as is his brother, E. Fator, who rides occasionally. George Coburn, trainer of the crack filly Nuhat, stated that he expected the youngster to be on the shelf for about two weeks. The fleet miss recently developed her second case of bucked shins and was quite sore this morning. Night Patrol, from the stable of Sandy McNaughton, was officially declared out of the Agua Caliente Handicap today. The animal failed to stand training and will likely be given a rest. Steeplechase jockey Eddie Ball is thinking of becoming an air pilot. He is taking instructions from starter Marshall Cassidy, who lands his plane in the Agua Caliente center field daily. J. B. McGinn has written a letter of protest to the stewards stating that his horse Bud Elder, which finished second in the second race on Tuesday is entitled to the purse. He asserts that Moane Keala, .the winner, did not carry her proper weight.,
