SPANISH PLAY READY NEW ORLEANS, La., March 8. Spanish Play, probable starter in the New Orleans Handicap here Saturday, was further fitted for that race and the Agua Caliente Handicap, to be run at Agua Caliente on March 20, when he breezed a mile and one-eighth here this morning in 1:58. It was with little effort that the four-year-old son of Spanish Prince II. got over the nine furlongs and trainer C. E. Gross will do little more with him during the remainder of his stay here. He is fit and ready for Saturdays race at a mile and one-eighth, and at midnight, Saturday, gets away for Agua Caliente. 1
