KENNY BOY, away slowly, closed a gap in the first quarter, steadily improved his position on the inside on the turn and, taking the lead, drew away to win easily. PRINCE ROCK began fast and, hard ridden, bore out slightly entering the stretch and outlasted KING COMMANDER. The latter, a factor all the way, lost ground, but held on gamely. MISS UNRULY, forced to race wide throughout, showed a good performance. CORBY had no mishaps. TRIM was in close quarters near the turn. PANSHALA, away poorlv, could not reach the leaders. LUCKY PAL lost much ground before working his way clear in the first quarter and, under light restraint for seven-eighths, rallied mildly when shaken up near the final eighth and tired badly, yet outlasted .TRUDGEON. The latter, rated along under restraint for three-quarters, slowly responded to light pressure and was wearing down the winner. BOTTLED BOURBON, a factor throughout, held on well. BIG GUN " Saved much ground. BLACK FOOL raced wide. ZEAL was blocked leaving the back stretch. FINLAND was pulled up badly lame after three-sixteenths. GOLDEN LIGHT, hard ridden, was a factor throughout and, reaching the leader on the stretch turn, could not get up. PRINCESS NANCY, quick to start, dropped out of it, but was going well in the late stages. LAZY MARY closed a gap in the last quarter. JUDAN showed speed, but tired. BROOMPATCH quit. MOTIVE was outrun. BURGOO, taken to the outside before going a quarter, failed to improve his position under light urging on the turn, gained steadily in the stretch and, getting up, tired, but lasted while bearing over on HONEY-MAN in the final strides. The latter showed speed ffom the start, was taken under light restraint on ther turn and, wearing down BLACK TYRONE, slowly gave way to the winner. BLACK TYRONE showed speed, saved much ground and was forced back when tiring near the end. FIDDLER, restrained for the first half mile, failed to improve his position when put to a drive. TWILL had no mishaps. JOURNEYS END could not set up. CATALANS IDOL raced wide, : DEXTRO, close up from the start, fell when trying to come through between the leaders in the closing three- eighths and MAKANDA fell over him. ROYAL RIOT was pulled up. SCANDAL SHEET ran away three-quarters before the start.
