RACING COMMISSION STATUS LEXINGTON, Ky., March 19 The Kentucky legislature adjourned at Frankfort early this morning. The senate rules committee failed to report for confirmation or rejection Governor Ruby Laffoons reappointment of Polk Laffoon, Covington; William E. Smith, Louisville; S. S. Combs, Lexington; Theodore H. Mueller, Louisville, and Frazer Lebus, Cynthiana. Thus the commission stands for the next two years as a recess appointment. At the meeting of the legislature in 1934 the governor will be required to send their names or the names of others to the senate for confirmation.
