DENEMARK BAND FOR AURORA Panchio, Water Port, Josephine D. and Miss Marr Included in String of Twenty. The largest single reservation approved to date by chief steward Martin Nathanson for stall room at Exposition Park, Aurora, is that of Emil Denemark, Chicago turfman, it was announced last night. The Denemark string, which races in the colors and name of Mrs. Denemark, will number twenty. Half of this number are seasoned campaigners, among which are such local favorites as Panchio, Josephine D., Miss Marr, Blackstrap and Water Port. There are ten two-year-olds on the list. The Denemark racers were among the largest money winners of the winter at Havana. With the winter turf season now closed, horsemen are turning their attention northward. The Chicago season, always a high spot in the summers racing, gets under way May 2 at -Aurora, and the number of owners applying for stall room indicates a banner season. Thus far Mr. Nathanson has approved some 300 horses and has had close to 2,000 applications. The first of the southern shipments are .expected at the Fox Valley course within a few .days. The track will be opened for thoroughbreds Monday.
