Gilmore, who trained In Memoriam, Lady Broadcast and other good horses and who now supervises the Tennessee Breeders Association horses, has forwarded liberal nominations for the seven stakes to be decided during the Latonia meeting. Gilmore plans on shipping to Latonia at the conclusion of the Washington Park meeting. James H. Moody, trainer of the Shady-brook Farm Stable of Theodore E. Mueller, named the crack sprinter, Cayuga, for the [ Quickstep Handicap, and Pittsburgher for ; the Independence and Enquirer Handicaps. Nituma, the highly regarded daughter of j Cherokee and Ancestress, which was graduated from the maiden ranks for the account t of S. S. Combs at Washington Park Wednesday, - will be at Latonia. The filly, which i recently recovered from a slight illness, was nominated for the Clipsetta Stakes. She will be in the Combs shipment that Carlos ; Ormesby brings to Latonia from Washington - Park. Jack Weaver unloaded nine horses late yesterday, the property of W. E. Smith, , vice-chairman of the State Racing Commission. The shipment, which was headed by : the three-time winner and unbeaten otherwise, was vanned from the Downs. Others ! in the shipment were Knockaway, Onside, Lonwin, Cheronap, Score, Murphys Luck, , Setrap and True Blue Pal. George Gould has six horses at Latonia. . He has Honey Hunter for T. H. McCaffrey, Sulm.il for W. J. Mulvihill, three two-year-olds, - Mt. Carmel, Airplane Slam and Dubric, , Star and Black and Jack Horgan, which will I race in Goulds colors. H. McGarvey is training Chatson, Aristocrat, - Laugh Toi and Princess A. O. for the Campbell County Stable of McGarvey and I C. Ortleib. Princess A. O. was purchased 1 out of the dispersal sale of the Joseph i Leiter estate. The Kenton Farm Stable has the lone : horse, Rare Charm, in training at Latonia. . 1 [ ; j t - i ; - , Norias. the other member of the stable, which is at Bainbridge, will be returned here for the Latonia meeting. Jim Lally has Orchestration and Zeus Prince at Latonia for E. Bischoff. Billie Rees has Donna C. and Crossed Wires at Latonia. They vert returned here at the conclusion of the illfated Ravenna meeting, James Baylor is training three two-year-! olds. They are Play Lady, a My Play filly; Dandy Smiles, a daughter of Hildur and Daily Smiles, and Chat On, a son of Sweep On and Chattell. J. B. Respess plans to go to Bainbridge Park Monday night to inspect the horses he has there in charge of C. H. Trotter. •
