DERBY CANDIDATES WORK OUT HOMEWOOD, 111., June 15. Following the running of the fourth race at Washington Park today, Stepenfetchit and Marmion, candidates for the American Derby to be run Saturday, had important workouts for that race. Stepenfetchit, working with Dornoch, ran a mile and one-eighth in 2:01 and Marmion went a like distance in 2:01. The track was heavy and holdingand the trials were excellent ones.
