EQUIPOISE IN FINE FETTLE NEW YORK, N. Y., June 15 It is not known that C. V. Whitneys Equipoise will be started in the old Brooklyn Handicap at Aqueduct Saturday, but should there be such a decision he appears ready. The son of Pennant Swinging was sent along by Fred Hopkins at Jamaica Tuesday morning for an easy mile in 1:46. It was a gallop through the muddy going, which is no handicap to this remarkable four-year-old. And, while Equipoise was aking his exercise at Jamaica, Mr. Whitneys remarkable filly Top Flight was out at Belmont Park, where she splashed through the mud for a breezing mile in 1:46. Both are holding their form well and are ready for the first asking.
