Frank Nelson, who gave his home address as Boston, was arrested here on charges of passing worthless contribution tickets. Nelson is at present held in the Platte County jail awaiting trial. Nelson was arrested when one of the cashiers discovered that the ticket presented had a number pasted over the original. When arrested Nelson, it was said, had tickets made up for every horse and several numbers cut from other tickets ready to use. It is alleged that Nelson cut numbers out of old tickets with a razor blade and when a certain race was over pasted on the needed number and cashed it Nelson is believed to be-only one of a gang now operating in the country.
