AMERICAN SUCCESS AT ASCOT Special Cablegram. ASCOT HEATH, England, June 15. To-taig carried the silks of the American sportsman Victor Emanuel to victory in the Royal Hunt Cup Handicap here today. He scored a two-lengths victory over J. T. Downings Eyes Front, with George Lambtons Pricket a short head away, third. Totaig, which was a forward contender in the early part of the Derby running, paid 33 to 1 to win. He is the eighteenth three year-old to prove successful in this coveted handicap. The last three-year-old to win the Royal Hunt Cup, which was instituted in 1843, was Lie-a-Bed, under the minimum impost of 84 pounds in 1914. Totaig shouldered 101 pounds. When Suspender won in 1892, he had 108 pounds in the saddle.
