1 PIMLIC0 TURF NOTES . j and Adolph Pons Swivel, winner of the Pim-lico Futurity, pulled up sore in her workout Wednesday morning. She will make, tier next appearance in the Endurance Handicap, a mile and one-sixteenth affair to be run Saturday, November 26, at Bowie. Jockey George Woolf, who was scheduled to come on from Kentucky to ride Swivel, telephoned that he was heading for California. Jockeys Charlie Kurtsinger, "Pete" Bost-wick, Tommy Malley and E. Steffen, who rode Tuesday at the United Hunts meeting in New York, returned here Wednesday morning. J. W. "Big" Jim Healy returned from New York. He will ship part of Mrs. John Hay Whitneys stable to Bennings Thursday, with the remainder going to Bowie. Jockeys G. Riley and E. McLaughlin will accompany the H. C. Hatch and E. R. Bradley horses from Latonia to Bowie Saturday. Lloyd Gentry, trainer of the Hatch string, is in cnarge of the Kentucky shipment. Charles McLennan and William Doyle are distributing Bowie badge lists among the horsemen.
