t NEW ORLEANS TURF NOTES h s G. W. Atkinson arrived from" Fairmount Park with a two-horse stable. Atkinson will campaign Wise Maid and Run Maid here. An expected arrival is A. Bartley, with Autumnal, Imagale and Banjo. Stalls have been bedded down for the horses, which are due to come from Fairmount Park. Dr. William Bloss was an arrival from Fairmount Park. He came with Foreign Relations, Thomas Patrick, Stratshore, Miss Upset, Adrian and Noble Wrack. Clarence Bunte, a regular here for years, has made application for six stalls. Buntes horses are turned out in Ohio and he is shipping Starboard Light, On Leave, Grand Baby, Farr, Bunky and Master Star. J. H. Buscher, the local trainer, has three horses at Jefferson Park for Miss L., Hoffman, headed by Dollar Princess. Run On and Jack Haskell make up the balance of the Buscher charges. George Chancellor is another to make application for stalls at Jefferson Park. Chancellor is training a public - stable and will ship here from Latonia. In his stable are Light Mint, Aimee Goldsmith, Sis Esther, Best Ace, Tabby and Miss Kathryn. Chancellor will also bring one yearling. F. C. Briggs advised Jefferson Park officials he was held up by the Louisiana tick law and as soon as he straightened the matter out, he was shipping from Houston Common Sense and Drink Hardy. Mrs. O. Curtis has made application for stalls for Renaissance, Wise Money, Grey Coat and Sun Friar. Another large stable due to arrive is that of H. A. CatalanOj who is shipping; Al Greent ! Colossal, Era, Dark Ayr, Yankaway,, Chummy, -Ronald Grey and Sister Lillie. W. J. Curran shipped from Sportsmans Park the veteran Starch. Jockey Paul Kefhover, who narrowly escaped fatal injuries in a fall at Redding, Pa., is an arrival. Having fully recovered, Kef-over is galloping horses and plans to ride free lance during the New Orleans season. Trainer J. Daniels, of the Southland Stable, reports that the horses that unloaded with four are recovering rapidly and will be under saddle in a few days. A. Anderson arrived Tuesday with Miss Perfection and Jane Boggess, which he purchased before leaving Sportsmans Park. The former was acquired from G. Henze and the latter from A. C. Neihaus. The pretentious stable of the Three Ds, which race for W. G. Waggoner and Son, is due to arrive November 12, according to word received by track superintendent Frank Kelly. They wjU occupy stable number 53 at the Fair Grounds. Chester Adams is an arrival from Chicago with the following horses, Diaquri, Highland Fling, Angon Ward and Florence Dolan. They took up quarters at the Fair Grounds. Gloria Sharpe, the property of Mrs. W. D. Bernhardt, came with the shipment. Applications were received from Jack Howard and John I. Smith for stabling room at the Fair Grounds. Howard has three head and Smith, will.send one.
