1 I CLAIMS AND SALES t • La Wanda was claimed by F. C. Marmet for ,000 at Tanforan. Joe Edwards sold Allenfern to A. W. Brown, a Maryland breeder, at private terms. Bungle has been purchased by E. Myatt, from Joe Edwards, for Canadian racing. Charles Ferraro, in order to strengthen his stable that he will race in Canada, purchased from Joe Edwards, at private terms, the following horses: Single Star, Ever There and Despert. Rush McCoy purchased the three-year-old Meteoric from A. L. Ferguson and turned him over to J. P. Jones to train. Kirby Ramsey claimed Popo out of the fourth race Saturday for ,000 and G. Meyers took Village Vamp out of the third for ,500. W. Carr also had in a claim fox; • Village Vamp.
