— -o GORBET FINED 00 AURORA, 111., May 13.— The failure of Owner Sam Gorbet to signify his intentions as to whether he would start or scratch Bronx Park* which was a scheduled starter In the sixth race at Exposition Park Friday caused the unnecessary delay of the horse being withdrawn at post time. Gorbet claimed Bronx Park from J. D. Mikel who raced him at Sportsmans Park, Thursday and according to Rule 202, Illinois Turf Rules, Gorbet was obliged to run the horse or declare him through the regular procedure of scratching at 8:30 in the morning. However, Gorbet used his own Derogative and was fined 00 by stewards J. T. Ireland and R. A Leigh.
