| AURORA TURF NOTES I — ♦ Samuel Ewing checked in with Tat, a five-year-old son of Flying Ebony. Clarence Cluck will do the training. Apprentice John Nachel and jockey Claude Sanchez had their first mounts of the meeting when they donned the silks Saturday. Former jockey Danny Jones arrived Thursday from his home in New Orleans. Jones, who has taken a vacation since Chokoloskee was claimed last fall, plans to purchase some horses which he intends to race at Washington Park. Jockey August Colvin has been engaged to ride Dr. Coogle, which is a scheduled starter in the fourth race at Sportsmans Park Monday. According to present plans Frankie Serem-ba, who is training about twenty head, will divide his string and give some to Joe Mc-Clymon, who will ship to Bainbridge, while Seremba will go to Blue Bonnets, Montreal, some time next week with the horses slated to perform on the Canadian tracks.
