GUR SALLIE responded to pressure and finished well. BEL TEMPO drew into a safe lead, but quit badly near the end. MISS CAREFUL began fast, but could not keep up. The latter drew into a safe lead, showed speed, saved ground and held on well. UPPERCUT began slowly and finished gamely. GRACIAS saved ground on the turns. CALCHAS quit under pressure. The latter, closest to the early pace, disposed of STAR FIRE when ready and finished gamely. CURACAO was bumped about racing to the first turn and knocked back. PILATE, in close quarters near the far turn, came through into the lead, but quit badly in the final eiehth. STAR FIRE had no mishaps. WATERWAY was outrun. Scratched— 810712Helianthus, 104.
