GOLDEN SPUR, closest to the winner throughout, held on resolutely to outlast PREDICT. The latter, away slowly, improved his position on the outside and finished fastest. The latter worked her way up gradually, then finished gamely. JERE began quickly, showed good speed while setting the early pace and held the others safe.
