1 HAMILTON, ONT., NOTES . 3 3 Condition books embracing the seven days of racing at Fort Erie were distributed among the horsemen at Hamilton. The meeting at the border course begins August 12. Schooling classes are being conducted each morning by starter Marshall Cassidy and his ground crew. J. A. Healey who has a large division of the Cornelius V. Whitney stable at Hamilton, has arranged to ship to Devonshire Park for the second meeting and has notified officials of the track. Jockey G. Rose, who will do the riding for the Whitney establishment, will accompany the shipment. C. Smythe came up from Toronto to inspect the horses of his stable that are here in charge of W. G. Campbell. Ex-jockey J. D. Mooney has been acquired to act as outrider on all tracks affiliated with the I. C. R. A. Mooney, a rider of note when in the saddle, took up his new duties on opening day at Hamilton. W. H. Bringloe, former trainer for the Seagram Stable, was an interested spectator for the inaugural of the second summer meeting at Hamilton. J. Beamish arrived with the stable Richard Pending raced at the recent Rockingham Park meeting. The Pending stable is headed by the consistent winner, Ned O.
