CINCINNATI TROPHY SATURDAY Largest Stake Field of Year Likely Likelyto to Go to Post for Latonias LatoniasJuvenile Juvenile Feature LATONIA Ky June 14 The largest field of any stake at this meeting probably will go to the post for the renewal of the Cincinnati Trophy the 2500 added six fur ¬ longs fixture fftr twoyearold colts and geldings at Latonia Saturday A number of juveniles have shown themselves to be of Trophy caliber during the meeting and it is quite likely that as many as a dozen will try for the attractive purse purseHeading Heading the list of certain starters is Mrs J H Whitneys No Saint a son of High Time and Sister Joan which won his only start here This youngster stands out as a favorite for the Trophy but there are enough others to promise to make it inter esting for the Whitney racer racerNo No Saint had his final hard prep for the race Thursday morning when he ran six furlongs in 114 in handy fashion Sev ¬ eral other Trophy candidates were on the track Thursday morning but No Saints work was the best of them Poet Prince owned by F P Letellier also worked six furlongs but he was not called upon for speed breezing the threequarters in 118 118A A young gelding from which much is expected in the Trophy is T C Gearys Ram ¬ rod This son of Cherokee and Dark Rose started here only once and won in impres ¬ sive fashion stamping himself a real racing prospect prospectAnother Another which may be hard to beat is J Shakespeares Mucho Gusto by Marvin May and Sweetheart Time In his only start he raced greenly but he has been burning up the track in morning trials trialsOthers Others expected to try in Saturdays fea ¬ ture are the Cattell Stables Manners Man Brownell Combs Monroe William Crumps Prince Pine T F Devereaux Imigert Ros coe Gooses Pokeaway G C Hughes Cerro J C McGinnis Leo B George S Morris First Entry and R L Stivers Tripp Up
