DON CARLOS SCORES AGAIN Repeats Good Performance of Mon ¬ day to Win Second Purse at Blue Bonnets Course MONTREAL Que June 14 Don Carloi racing for C M Lilley repeated his fine performance of Monday when he accounted for the Laurentian Purse a mile affair holding the leading position on the eleventh days program of the Montreal Jockey Club ClubOf Of the eight named overnight Cousin George and Risneur were scratched which left a field of six L Molaskys Judge Direnzo raced into second place with Miss B J Christmas Gay Party third The crowd was one of the smallest of the meet ¬ ing the storm which broke in the forenoon keeping all but the ardent followers at home The track was turned into a sea of slop slopDon Don Carlos was sent into the lead right at the start and was rated along in the lead followed by Dandy Dan and Hero Olga In the run down the back stretch Don Carlos still continued to lead under restraint with Dandy Dan second and Judge Direnzo mov ¬ ing into third place On the turn into the stretch Judge Direnzo made a bold chal ¬ lenge on the inside insideHorvath Horvath released the Master Charlie colt which drew away again to win easily by two and onehalf lengths Judge Direnzo con ¬ tinuing gamely and easily holding Gay Party safe The latter after being outrun to the stretch finished gamely Dandy Dan quit badly in the stretch
