AURORA TURF NOTES Mounted policeman Johnny Walker of New Orleans who has many friends among the Aurora employes wrote a letter to Allen Forgot a member of racing secretary R A Leighs office force relating his narrow escape from fatal injury when his horse became unmanageable and ran off through City Park and threw him against a large palm tree Walker said he was re ¬ covering rapidly and would probably be well in a few weeks The injured policeman iis one of the best riders on the New Orleans force and has been successful several times in races given over to the mounties of the Crescent City CityThe The following horses have been assigned to start from an outside position in their future engagements Anne L All Bays Bub ¬ bling O Band Wagon Boocord Byphar Cousin Bess Cotton Time Dandy Dan Ir faneh Jester B Jack Murphy Le Ministre Occult Royal Purchase Silver Blue Su pero Very Well and Zekiel ZekielApprentice Apprentice Daniel Brammer who arrived Wednesday got into action Friday when he drew the assignments on Shoteur and Try It in the fifth and seventh races respectively
