PIMLICO TURF NOTES R L Gerry wellknown breeder is com ¬ ing from New York with a large party of friends to witness the running of the Preak ¬ ness Stakes StakesSecretary Secretary Matthias Daiger stated that all box seat reservations have been completely taken up for Preakness day and that several other applicants had to be turned down downWalter Walter M Jeffords and Mrs Jeffords owners of Firethorn and Commonwealth both of which are named to run in the Preakness Stakes arrived from Philadelphia and inspected their stables that are in charge of Preston M Burch They were early vis ¬ itors at Pimlico and watched eagerly the final preparation of their entrants
