KIRKLAND POST had good speed and raced to the front at once, was given a respite on the turn, came again in the stretch and just lasted COUNTY COURT moved up stoutly on the turn to take a brief lead, gave way to the winner in the stretch, but came again and just failed to get up while bearing out. HARDY BAN, reserved in the early racing, gradually improved his position anddosed well. ROCKVALE raced evenly. BOCA CHICA had early speed, but quit badly. ANEROID, away fastest, permitted AMQUI to take a short lead on the back stretch, responded readily to go to the front on the final turn and drew out easily. SIR ROLLIE gradually bettered his position, wore down AMQUI under punishment in the stretch, but was no match for the winner. AMQUI had good early speed while racing on the inside, but quit.
