1 CLAIMS AND SALES . John Bosley, Jr., purchased Little Caesar, at Thorncliffe, from A. E. Alexandra for a private consideration. White Legs was claimed out of the eighth race Wednesday at Homewood by L. Beyda for ,000 from H. Jones. Trainer A. Goldblatt, acting for Mrs. R. B. Fairbanks, sold the five-year-old bay gelding Captain Joy to R. W. Hoffman. The transaction was private. C. T. Hall, who claimed Polisher at Beulah Park Wednesday, has been ordered to return the horse to the original owner, S. D. Hudson, due to a finding of the stewards that the claim was in error. Highdry was claimed by the Baseline Stable for ,000 at Detroit. Ina Dear was claimed by Mrs. L. F. Nim-koff for ,000 at Rockingham Park, and John Tio went to the Goldenrod Stable for ,500. Fred Coppa has sold Caerlepn, which was scratched from the second race Thursday, to Alberto Brito. The amount involved was 50. The aged gelding, Culloden, established some kind of a record Wednesday when he was claimed for the fourth time at the meeting. Culloden has started four times at this meeting and on each occasion there Avere one or more claims in for him. Wednesday he reverted back to his original owner when R. M. McCoy claimed him from W. A. Mikel. The T 2 Stable claimed Abe Furst from W. Phillips for 00. Dishong Bros, claimed Runanwin from Mrs. H. G. Hyde for 00, Paul T. was claimed for the second time of the meeting when, C. N.
