Green; bred in England by Mr. Z. E. Michalinos. WENT TO POST— 2:50. AT POST— 2 minutes. Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. AMAGANSETT, reserved from the pace of the early leaders and fencing well, moved into command with ease when called upon after the eighth fence, drew clear and was steadied along in front to win with much in reserve. BOLD FELLOW, patiently handled, was waited with for one turn of the field, moved up to reach a contending position after the twelfth fence, but was no match for the winner. SNAKE CHARMER, far back, earned third money only because the others did not finish. POPPYMAN had early speed to set the pare, gave way to the winner after the eighth fence, raced into a contending position until the thirteenth jump where he fell. JOLIE KNIGHT forced the early pace but quit badly. He was beaten when he fell at the thirteenth jump. CURTAIN CALL had shown nothing when she lost her rider at the seventh jump. ADAMS EVE, rated in closest attendance to IDLE WORKER through the back stretch, moved into command when called upon on the turn, drew out into a safe lead and was kept under mild pressure to the finish. IDLE WORKER had niie speed to take command, gave way to the challenge of the winner, but hune on well to oultinish GRANDMAS BOY. The latter improved his position steadily and closed with cood speed. BALLY BAY tacked early speed but closed a good cap when settled into his stride. VITOX flashed early speed, but tired. MY SIS raced well in spots MISS MARED quit. TW1DGETS went wide all the way. The latter sprinted into command early, saved ground and held on well, but could not withstand the challenge of the winner. TALL OAK lacked speed to keep apace the leaders in the early stages, but clo;.ed fast. IRREPRESSIBLE, well up from the start, moved up stronglv in the stretch, hut tired. HAFFY ROAD did not enter serious contention, while having no excuses. GLAD WINGS flashed early speed, but quit badly. QLTNCY raced very wide and never was dangerous. SIXTH RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. BIOGRAPHY was rushed around his field at the first turn, challenged III— clj at the tmal turn, but faltered in the final test. SILENT SHOT, slow to begin, closed with good courage in the late stages. HAPPY EASTER rallied strongly in the last five sixteenth- and closed g.inielv . CHIEF HOLLIS outran his field to the first turn, went along under slight reserve until challenged, but weakened under a Laid drive. SILENT DON finished in very close quarters next the inside during the stretch run after entering a forward position LITTLE WOMAN went wide all the way. DEEP RUN could not engage the leaders. BLACK RIBBON stopped. FOLLOW ON was away poorly and w.is used up getting to his field. TELL IT raced in disgraceful fashion. Overweight — Gay Sympathy, 14: pounds; Chief Hollis, 3.
