MAYRO, quickest to besin. withstood determined opposition from YETIVE before reaching the stretch and drew out through the closing eighth. YETIVE, away alertly, displayed good speed throughout. MISS MARLBORO was unable to keep pace early, but closed with a rush on the outside and was going fastest of all at the cloe. LITTLE AUDREY was always well up, though faltering in the closini strides. FORTUITY, on the outside while racing close ap early, was unable to keep pace in the drive. PERCENT went evenly. TRAUWINA was caueht in a jam shortly after the start and had to be eased back rounding the far turn. SECOND RACE 3-4 MILK Out of Chute. FORCED LANDING was hard hustled to get to the front, drew clear saving ground in the stretch, fought it out in game style and lasted to hold MIDNIGHT FLYER. The latter, well placed while racing restrained, moved up steadily on the outside, made a bold bid to get to the front, but was not good enough. LOLOMA. in close quarters Rearing the far turn, closed boldly when obtaining clear passage. MORGIL was away well, but lacked speed to keep up. CONCHITA was well placed the entire way and had no excuses. GENERAL A., sore going to the post, trailed early and passed tirine horses through the stretch. BYE BYE MARY went to the front in the run to the first turn, withstood determine. opposition from IPPERCLT, disposed of him but was unable to meet the challenge of the winner. RETRIBUTION dropped back in the opening three-eighths, began improving her position steadily thereafter and was going well at the end. PLAYMORE came determinedly on the outside in the stretch run. UPPERCUT tired after going about seven-eighths. BALMACAN never was a threat. OVERSTIMULATE went wide at the first turn and was far back throughout. NEW DEAL, far back for the first half mile, closed with a rush and would probably have been third in another stride. WISE PRINCE was unable to engage the leaders. DREEL raced wide and was never a factor. BAY BUBBLE showed early speed, but was much used in racing with the leaders. CHANCER was outrun. CASCAPEDIA closed courageously in the drive, getting up for third right at the end. HERONDAS loomed up threateningly entering the stretch, only to weaken in the closing test.
