The latter, saved while forcing the pace, took command when ready, drew clear rapidly, gave way to the winner, stumbled in the stretch and held on tenaciously. SIR BOSTON, outrun for five eighths, moved up fast thereafter and finished strongly. COHORT LASS, in close? quarters early, weakened after improving her position. LORD DALTON quit.
