RUCKUS, close to the early pace, took the lead on the lower turn, saved ground entering the stretch and fought it out stubbornly. TOPWAY, forced to lose ground while moving into contention, finished gamely on the outside. LADY BRACADALE, well placed in the early iunning, made a game bid in the stretch, but tired nearing the end. DISAPPROVAL showed speed in spots. DRINKWATER was outrun. ADADOS started from outside the gate, showed good early speed and held on well. PARADE REST and TRICKY MISS were used up in setting the pace and both tired badly in the final eighth.
