The latter improved his obsition fast after five-sixteenths, was forced wide entering the stretch, came fast when straightened, but hung near the end. BONNIE PAN took command under hustling tactics, gave way when challenged, but held on well. RAIN OR SHINE, used up in the pace, tired in the final eighth. CLAREMONT showed a dull effort. AURA moved up fast after five-sixteenths, was forced wide entering the stretch and tired thereafter. PRINCE TIDE, inclined to bear out from the start, was never a factor. WARDELL ORMONT quit.
