Louis Almgren, for twenty-six years fire chief of San Diego, is an arrival from the South. His stable, headed by Alviso, is at Bay Meadows. Silk Mask, crack sprinter jn the Rosedale Stable, is back in training again and probably will see action before the season closes. F C. Travis has advertised five horses in training for sale. The horses are at Bay Meadows and may be inspected at Barn T. Earl Harvey, owner of the "eye in the sky camera device which photographs the finishes at Tanforan, was a recent arrival from Chicago.
