SQUARE PLAY, s forward factor all the way, moved up with a rush on the outside in the stretch run and outgamed BOOSEL in the final strides. The latter was rushed into command after the start, showed 4arly speed, saved ground and held on well. WATERMAN showed a good effort throughout. TROSTAR Yaced forwardly all the way and had no mishaps. VERITAS closed ground from a slow start. SEA GULL was on the inside, but could not get clear. WALMISS had no mishaps. QUEEN GOVANS was in close quarters In the early running and could not improve her position. HAPPY AND GAY began slowly. HEADIN HOME broke fast, showed early speed, but faltered under the weight at the ,tnd. TAKUS raced evenly throughout. PETARD had no mishaps in the running. GEMWICK, a forward factor all the way, came again under urging in the final sixteenth. BRIEF showed early speed, but faltered when called upon. KALEIDA made Tip ground steadily. BENJAM showed speed from the start while savin; ground at the stretch turn, responded to pressure in the stretch run and outlasted SMOKE SIGNAL in the final drive. The latter raced forwardly from the start, bore out slightly near the stretch after assuming command and then came again in the final drive. LAST LAY began slowly, but moved up with a rush on the outside rounding the stretch turn, made a determined bid in the stretch, but hung under pressure in the final sixteenth. BUNNY BABY was caught in close quarters after the break, shuffled back and finished well at the end. ARAHO LASS was gaining slowly under pressure at the end. FRANK BROOKE and LACONIC were outrun. CREDULOUS, close up from the start, made a determined bid in the stretch run, but hung in the final drive. SWIFTLET was going strongly at the end. COUNT TETRARCH had no mishaps in the running. DEPARTED was outrun for the first three-quarters, moved up rapidly and outgamed MAD FRUMP. The latter lacked early speed, made up ground gradually and finished fast. DEARZIN came from far back.
