Strub Gets Housing Post PostLOS LOS ANGELES Calif May 5 Charles H Strub vicepresident and general man ¬ ager of the Santa Anita Race Track now occupied by the Army Ordnance Depart ¬ ment has been appointed by Governor Earl Warren to direct soldier housing on a state ¬ wide scope Strub will immediately make a survey to find out what can be accom ¬ plished to alleviate the present housing stringency as it affects the Armed Forces Many soldiers and sailors have been forced to sleep in hotel lobbies and park benches while on furlough One of Strubs first moves will be to open an office in Los Angeles and Gwynn Wilson treasurer and assistant general manager of the Arcadia track will be requested to take charge of it
