Illinois Notes SPORTSMANS PARK jCicero HI May 5 Homer Pardue received word from Ken ¬ tucky that Ruth Sidells Whipstitch and Cottingham had foaled to Sir Jim James Whipstitch foaled a colt by the Sidell stal ¬ lion and Cottingham a filly Both mares will be bred back to Sir Jim James who stands at Bashford Manor Stud which the late George J Long made famous L V Bellew Jr received the twoyear old A Sweep the property of Mrs V C Young and who came from the Young farm near Georgetown Ky During the first nine days of the Sports ¬ mans Park meeting 16 horses exchanged ownership by the claiming route Mrs A M Creech sold the plater Laughing Pair to A Janicki Terms were private The third and final book of conditions for the Sportsmans Park meeting was dis ¬ tributed to horsemen today Harold Nellor owner of All Lizzie and several other horses arrived from his home at Beemer Neb Jockey J Alfonso arrived from Churchill Downs and made an application for a license Nomination blanks for the Selima Stakes which close May 15 are available at the racing secretarys office M G Farnsworth sent the plater Little Rustler to his farm at Bridgman Mich
