DUBLIN, Ireland. — Colombs Kingdom is another more-than-usual two-year-old that is carrying the Joseph McGrath silks successfully early this season, as proved by a recent facile success in the five-furlong Greer Two-Year-Old Plate at Phoenix Park, Dublin. In this race, Colombs Kingdom, who had disappointed earlier at Naas, played the part of hare before hounds for the entire trip to win easing up by three lengths. A particularly well-bred youngster is Colombs Kingdom, a sizable bay son of the Two Thousand Guineas winner Colombo, out of Mercia, by the great French-bred sire, Teddy, out of Pride of Hainault, by Hainault.
