Ten Juveniles Seek Detroits Turf and Paddock Club Purse DETROIT, Mich., June 28.— The 1943 renewal of the ,000 Turf and Paddock Club Purse will headline the sport at the Detroit Fair Grounds tomorrow. Ten top flight two-year-olds are named for the five furlong dash and the event shapes up as one of the best juvenile offerings of the season. Mrs. Elizabeth Graham leased Darby Delilah for the feature; Mrs. George R. Hearst will be represented by Cuban Bomb; Miss Mary Fishers silks are to be carried by Royal Red, Gramps Image is to race for Miss Betty Couzens and Red Wonder will be the hope of Mrs. Frank J. Navin. Completing the field: Mrs. Anastasia Buhls Hi- Ty, Miss Peggy A. Townsends Commando Tom, Mrs. J. Warfield Rodgers Valdina Loria, Mrs. Mary M. Thorns Air Patrol and Mrs. Susan Briggs Fishers Beauwolf. Beauwolf and Royal Red will race coupled as the Miss Mary Fisher and Mrs. Susan Briggs Fisher entry.
