Won ridden out; second and third driving. DOWNY PILLOW, rushed into a clear lead earl v. increased her advantage durine the run to the stretch, but swerved during the drive, and, under pressure in the late stages, held MEADOW DEW safe. The latter, in close quarters early, came fast when clear, but failed to menace the winner. WEST HO lacked racing room during the opening three-eighths, but came fast when clear though tiring in the late stages. BALTEE, a factor from the start, was pinched back approaching the stretch, but came again when clear. MONKS MEMO held a prominent position from the start, but tired. HAZEL LEE broke slowlv, but came fast in the drive. BLOSSOM QUEEN was shuffled back soon after the start. HEEL CALL broke slowly and, losing much ground during the run to the turn, lefused to extend himself thereafter. HARRIET SUE swerved when taking command and. establishing a good lead after disposing of MIDWESTERNER, responded well when tiring to hold PUKKA GIN safe. The latter, away slowly and in close quarters early, came fast when clear to be wealing down the winner near the end. MIDWESTERNER was a strong factor from the start, but drifted out entering the stretch, then came atr.iin to firi-.h well. CREEPIN broke slowly and was sent to the inside approaching the stretch, but tired. LAWRINSON was outrun. ELISSA B. quit. ALAGOLD was unable to keep up. ALOHORT. away slowly and outrun early, improved his position on the outride and dosed resolutely. FILL CRY, though away fast, was unable to keep up. HASTY KISS leaped into the air at the start and was slow in reaching her best stride, finishing on the inside. EQITSTAR opened up a commanding lead in the opening quarter and increased his advantage during the stretch run, but quit tadlv after coins five eighths.
