HO HUM, unable to reach the leaders early, worked her way up eradually in the last five sixteenths and, closing with a rush, was along in the closing strides. MULTI QUEST was sent up fast on the outside nearing the far turn and, showing in front when reaching the stretch, fought it out gamely to the end. AGRADEL closed willingly. CHARGE, hustled to the front early, was forced to take up near the finish when sandwiched between the leaders. FREEBORN raced well placed early, but tired in the closing drive. BUCKLE DOWN was unable to endanger* the leaders. WESSEX saved ground going into the stretch. TURNABOUT was unable to reach the leaders. MASTER PETE was outrun. OUR VICTORY, hustled lo the front in the run through the back stretch, met early opposition from COLLEEN M. and, after disposing of her, had enough to outlast BETTY LEON at the end. BETTY LEON, prominent all the way, fought it out determinedly to the close. COLLEEN M. forced the pace for the first half mile, but was not good enough for the first two. HY KERRY held on well during the closing drive. OUR GLADDEN was unable to reach th*e leaders. MARY ALICE had brief early speed. ROCKY CRAIG was never a serious factor. ROUGH HONEY moved up steadilv nearing the far turn, then retired from contention. NIGHT BOMBER, under light pressure early, responded gamely when reaching the stretch and closed determinedly to wear down FOXCLAY in the last thirty yards. The latter showed speed from the start and. after disposing of NINE HOLE for the lead, drew clear, but was unable to cope with the bid of the winner near the end. GRACE TAMM bettered her position gradually under hard urging ihroueh the la«t three sixteenths. CLAN OGAEL, outrun early, dosed a big gap. NINE HOLE had brief early speed. TRESS RODGERS moved up when rounding from the back stretch, but was unable to make up any ground dining the rest of the journey. MABEL DAUBER went evenlv. JAMES ACRE tired badlv. SCOTCH ABBOT, on the outside and never far from the pace, responded gamely to hard riding when straightened in the stretch and, wearing down QUEENS RISK, was slowly increasing his advantage in the closing strides. QUEENS RISK, prominent from the outset, wore down ADROIT to take the lead and, though tiring rearing the finish, outlasted PRORATION but was unable to cone with the challenge cf the winner. PRORATION went into contention with a rush nearing the stretch tur:i and closed willingly. BABY DARLING, far back for a half mile, closed stoutly. ZACABRAND. well placed eaily. failed to close ground when called upon. LITTLE HOOPS was unable to threaten. ICYSTREAM was away fast, but could not keep up. BOLD DAN was never prominent. KANLAST closed some ground in the last half mile and finished with good energy. LEGATION forced the early pace, but tired. WINE PUNCH weakened after showing early speed.
