Ed Deen Resigns Position With Puett Gate Company LOS ANGELES, Calif., May 22.— Ed Deen, general manager of the Puett Gate Company, has tendered his resignation with that organization, effective June 1. Deen has been with the starting gate company the past several years and plans to take a prolonged vacation, after which he will consider several offers to resume his activities in the racing industry. Deen, prior to his association with the Puett Company, was assistant general manager of Hollywood Park.
